Library Camp Day 1

Today I had library camp. Initially it was quite sian and was extremely bored, especially when they told us to come at 9am and the Bus to the National Library only at 1045, so sit around in the school library read book lor. I was reading Piratica by Tanith Lee, and I must admit its quite a good book, and I managed to hack through about 370 pages in like maybe 2 hours of reading? I dont know. On the bus also veri sian, so I just played with Kevin's Wombat plush keychain throughout the trip. Anyway, one of our school librarians was one of the Ex-staff of the NLB, so we had to keep stopping once in a while to let her talk to her ex-colleagues. In the end I think we dumped her somewhere and left with our Tour Guide. Lol lol lol. Anyway, forgot to say la. We supposed to reach there at 1130, so there would be 1 hour lunch break till 1230, then we had to gather. But it being only 1105, I went to Yu Kee Duck House to have lunch with Malcolm. He ordered his Kway Chap and had a tough time trying to say
liver in chinese. After I helped him, I ordered their speciality Duck rice of the same price, and in my opinion, the portion of kway chap looked miserly next to me big plate of rice XD. After that we went Bugis Junction to stroll and look at shops and I took some really cool X-Men III postcards. Then came the 1 1/2 hour where we supposed to select and read the book that we want to do for a book review we had to do later. Since I was already reading Piratica halfway, I saw no reason to indulge in a new book hence I just kept reading Piratica for the whole day..Yeah even through the tour coz its quite boring anyway. Shan't bore you, just want to say that we went to some exclusive gardens that weren't accessible to the public and the famous
POD, which gave a spectacular view of the Singapore skyline. (See pic) So cool lor there was a coffee vending machine and while some of us bought coffee, milo, wadeva, others kept pressing the hot water button, which provided free hot water, so all the cheapskate people were very happy and kept taking. Lol
